The Soborniy Hotel in Zaporozhye is a small, privately-owned and very luxurious hotel. However, it's is not expensive. It's decor is both beautiful and sumptuous (chandeliers, marble, fine wood and mirrored glass). It was 32c in Zaporozhye but the quiet air conditioning meant the room was always cool and pleasant. The room came with a bedroom, bathroom and a living area (with sofa, armchairs, tv (58 channels) and a well-stocked mini-bar. It is perfect for families. The staff speak both Russian and English and were always available and happy to help. I'd give this small, quality hotel 5 stars.
This hotel is faultless.

It is a small hotel with only 12 guest rooms. Looks fairly fresh as it was probably very recently build. We had a good welcome at reception. Hotel staff was friendly. Rooms are spacious. We have been given a free upgrade as somebody else requested that they stayed in the room that we booked. Not a problem with us. As a result, we stayed in room 12 with two bedrooms with a queen-size bed in each of room. I believe that this is the largest room in the hotel. Breakfast is included: you can choose from a menu up to a set price limit. Reasonable quality.
Very short blankets - obviously not fitting the size of the beds and there were no extra blankets in the room. This was pretty annoying. They also need to learn to do their vacuum-cleaning better. Floor carper covering is new but not clean. Also, water quality is not the best but this is likely to be due to the city water utility provider rather than the hotel itself. Nevertheless, installing a good water filter in the hotel should have helped.

We stayed at this hotel during New Year's eve. We had a great time here. the hotel is located near the main transportation hubs and marketplaces, making it easy to commute and explore the area. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff. They provided us with free toiletries and the beds were comfy. the location was also quiet and peaceful, even during the busy New Year's season. Another great aspect we liked was the sauna and massage services provided by the hotel. It was a great way to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
There were a few aspects that were not satisfactory. the breakfast application was a bit strange, where guests were given a certain amount of money as credit and had to pay for any excess.

Perfect location for exploring the city - close to public transport and local marketplace. The friendly staff left a great first impression and their willingness to help with baggage storage after checkout made the weekend stress-free. Room amenities such as efficient air conditioning and a safe added to the comfort of the stay.
Limited breakfast options and odd ordering system for food was slightly confusing, but staff were helpful in explaining the process. The lack of an elevator may pose a challenge for those with mobility issues.
